Looking for hands-on work where every day is different? As a Surface Experts Technician, you’ll repair surfaces like bathtubs, countertops, cabinets, and flooring using our proven 5-Step process.

Pay: $18/hour during a 4-week paid training period, with a pay increase upon completion
- Additional income through add-on repair commissions, performance bonuses, and holiday bonuses

Requirements

Experience with tools or hands-on work (jobs, trades, school, or personal projects/hobbies)
Ability to identify, compare, and accurately match colors
Comfortable working independently in customer homes and businesses
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Creative, hands-on backgrounds (artists, makers, designers, art students, craftspeople, luthiers)
Trades experience (maintenance, painting, millwork, construction, carpentry, automotive)

Hiring Process

Within 24 hours: Our operations coordinator will reach out for a phone screening
Within 48 hours: We’ll schedule an in-person interview
Within 1 week: We’ll schedule an in-person ride-along
Within 2 weeks: The hiring process is typically complete

Duties:

Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff
Track work progress and notes in our dispatch tool
Communicate with the support team with questions
Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process
Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit
Problem-solve repairs with creativity

Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill.
Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours.
