Surface Experts is a national brand that is in the process of growing our local team. We are looking for a person to fill our field technician role. Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
In the Field Daily
- On the jobsite for multiple customers per day
- Working for a variety of customers in different industries including Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.
Customer Service and Communication
- Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff
- Track work progress and notes in our CRM/Dispatch tool
- Communicate with support team with questions and communicate job status
Follow Repair Process
- Understand and utilize our unique repair process
- Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit
- Problem-solve repairs with creativity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby
- Experience working in facilities maintenance can be a big plus, but is not required
- An ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors - Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. An art background is helpful, but not necessary.
- Willingness to commit to learning a skill that may take months to master.
- Looking for a 2 year commitment.

The ideal applicant is someone who finds pride in their work and thrives using creativity. Most of our customers are faced with unique damage to their counter, floor, tub or other hard surface. As a creative repair specialist we can problem-solve, finding a custom repair for the damage and saving them the hassle and cost of replacement.
Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

We combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile.
- Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill.
- Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours.
